Required Chemical Use Assessment

When a student is in violation of the District's Alcohol and Drug Policy, i.e., is found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, selling, distributing or using any controlled substances, alcohol, steroids, inhalants and/or other mood-altering substances, the School Administration shall require the student to schedule an appointment for a comprehensive chemical health assessment.  The School Administration will provide the student and family with a suspension packet containing the necessary forms to complete the assessment.

School Administrator: after notifying the parent of these violations, please contact your assigned Chemical Health Counselor  with notice of the suspension.   Your Chemical Health Counselor  will contact and assist the student and family with the
assessment process.  Your feedback and knowledge of the student plays a vital role in securing accurate assessment recommendations.
